MODEL 231
Legislative Decree no. 231 of June 8, 2001 introduced the discipline of Administrative Liability of Companies, under which companies can be held responsible, and consequently sanctioned, for certain crimes committed or attempted in the interest or for the benefit of the company by administrators or employees. The company’s liability is excluded if it has adopted and effectively implemented, before the commission of crimes, organizational, management, and control models capable of preventing such crimes (“Model 231”) and has established a body tasked with monitoring the functioning and compliance of these models (“Supervisory Body”).
In February 2025, the Board of Directors of First One adopted its own Model 231, which is the tool through which First One clearly defines its values, principles, and responsibilities in order to maximize its efficiency, reliability, and reputation, which are key factors for its success and for improving the conditions under which Agrifarma operates.
