Energy generation
The facility has a large square footage of solar panels, capable of generating 250 kwp of solar energy. The building works with natural light for about 10 hours a day thanks to the large glass surface and favorable exposure.

Water treatment
To protect the environment, full treatment and purification of the process water produced is ensured. There is also a redundant backup plant to ensure protection in the event of any accidents.

Dust and air treatment
Dust is recovered by means of a filtration plant, which allows for particularly effective treatment. The final emissions are 0.01 mg/nmc against the 5 mg/nmc required by law, thus well below the required parameters. The entire air mass is filtered and heat exchanged, thus recovering energy that is used to heat water. The air is treated with a scrub system in addition to a cold plasma treatment to lower emissions and odour units emitted.

Waste management
All organic by-product that cannot be re-utilized from processing is used to generate electricity in a biomethane plant, reducing the mass of waste produced and helping to create additional energy.
